For a very special 10 days of training in Oberstdorf we were fortunate to represent Great Britain in an international development training camp. 

 

Brienne and I were introduced to many new exercises, concepts and experiences and were pushed both mentally and physically to improve all aspects of our skating.

 

Most days consisted of 4 on-ice sessions and 2 off-ice sessions. The on-ice sessions involved specific lessons on techniques (both in hold and solo) and then preparation for the coming short dance season. And the off-ice sessions consisted of ballroom lessons for the coming short dance styles of Latin America, ballet lessons, modern dance and theatre lessons.
