An amazing week spent in Rome with Aurelija, J.T and family! 

It was a pleasure to work with this great couple a lot in the lead up to going to Italy. After an easy flight and good sleep, we traveled to the rink and began familiarizing ourselves with the location of everything at the rink before practice. Practice went well and the following day we began preparing for the RD. We arrived at the rink ahead of time (as always preferred) and after watching some of the previous categories of skaters they warmed up and after the warm up practice, had a good skate. In the evening we then had practice for the FD.

The following day was the FD, we began by arriving at the rink again and then again watching some of the other skaters perform their FD's in the previous categories. Aurelija and J.T then got to warming up ready for their FD. After warm up practice off and on the ice, they had a good FD performance. 

The following day, we spent it going round the city of Rome. A very picturesque and religious city for lots of beautiful photos and tour. The golden hour lit up the stone buildings, through all the tight side streets, which flooded onto the wide and open spaced main roads. We toured around as many of the touristy famous spots as we could in the remaining time we had before turning in for the day and flying back the following day.
